Hunter Valley and District Lowline Promotion Group
NOTICEBOARD
Welcome to the HVDLPG notice board.
Our aim is to keep you up-to-date with the
goings on of
the Hunter Valley & District Lowline Promotion Group.
My apologies. It has been a while since I have updated this page but that
doesn't mean
nothing has been happening.
Our Junior Parading
Workshop was a great success and we held another
workshop weekend on Cattle
Care and Handling for those that have
little or no experience with cattle.
It was a basic information day with a lot of hands-on opportunities.
It is that time of the year again.
The Farming Small Areas Expo at
CLARENDON is on again.
Also we will be holding a regular meeting on Sunday 26th
October 2008
at Lucy & Lana Kuipers house at 2.00pm.
The address is 596
Londonderry Road, LONDONDERRY.
We will be discussing our display at the
Expo, who will be available to man it
and which animals will be used.
Only
cattle available for sale will be displayed.
If anyone would like to offer their
cattle
please come to the meeting so we can organize it.
Coming up is
Picton Show on 11th & 12th of October.
We will have members attending so
hope you can make it and say hello.
I hope everyone is still thinking of
Sydney 2010?
Planning a show team for 2009 would be a good way
to get your show
cattle used to being at shows.
If anyone would like to show cattle but do not
know where to start
we have plenty of experienced show goers who would be only
too happy to help you.
I am open to suggestions so if you are reading this page
and have anything to add please let me know.
Signing off for now.
