MESSAGE FROM THE
SENIOR VICE-PRESIDENT: "This message is coming from me because the President is away taking a well-deserved break. Here's the October issue of
our electronic newsletter, smaller than usual because we're also working on the Journal and the new website. We have included results from the Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth Royal Shows, also the announcement of who will be
the 2009 ALCA Youth Ambassador to the United States. Congratulations Heidi Corey of South Australia. We know
you'll represent us well. The runner-up was Christina Schiller of Queensland who also gets a special prize. There are no printable PDFs with this newsletter. We did them last time because of a request but only a
few were downloaded. If you would like a page made into a printable PDF, just email the Editor
and she'll make you one. The 2009 ALCA Journal is well under way but we still need more stories and pictures. If you haven't sent your champions pictures or promotion group reports, this is a final reminder. We also have a team of ALCA members beta-testing the new website which we think will please you when it is finally released. This newsletter (and all future ones)is also available on our new webserver. Keep the ideas coming." Tammy Breuer
